Itinerary for tour of Australia

The Indian cricket team will begin its 76-day tour of Australia with a four-day match against Queensland at Brisbane from November 26 to November 29, the Board of Control for Cricket in India announced today.

The team will leave for Australia a week after the last one-day match against the New Zealand, at Delhi, on November 17.

India is scheduled to play three Test matches at Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney, and a triangular one-day tournament involving Australia and Pakistan.

India opens its challenge in the one-day series with a day-night match against Pakistan on January 10.

The tour itinerary:
November 26-29: vs Queensland at Brisbane
December 2-5: vs New South Wales at Sydney
December 7: One-day match against Prime Minister's XI at Canberra
December 10-14: First Test at Adelaide
December 17-20: vs Tasmania at Hobart
December 26-30: Second Test at Melbourne
January 2-6, 2000: Third Test at Sydney

Triangular one-day series
January 9: Australia vs Pakistan at Brisbane (D/N)
January 10: India vs Pakistan at Brisbane (D/N)
January 12: India vs Australia at Melbourne
January 14: India vs Australia at Sydney (D/N)
January 16: Australia vs Pakistan at Melbourne
January 19: Australia vs Pakistan at Sydney (D/N)
January 21: India vs Pakistan at Hobart
January 23: Australia vs Pakistan at Melbourne
January 25: India vs Pakistan at Adelaide (D/N)
