Ghei, Johl hold ninth place in Volvo China Open

Gaurav Ghei and Amandeep Johl finished the second round with five under par139 at the Volvo China Open Golf Tournament in Shangai.
Ghei, in his second round, played consistently and carded 2 under par a round of 70 on the day, while Johl had 4 under par 68. In the 15th spot was Jyoti Randhawa, who shot 71 for a total of 141.

Also making it to the third round was Arjun Singh and Arjun Atwal. Both were level with the score of 146 and shared the 57th spot. The only Indian who failed to make the cut was Vivek Bhandari, who shot a round of 75 and had a total of 154.

Thailand's Thannanoon Sriroj finished the day with a perfect triple-birdie to take the halfway lead with a nine under par 135. With his round of 68 he had a one stroke lead over the South African Des Terblanche, with the third place going to the Japanese Yasushi Taki, who fired a course record 66 in the second round.
