Jadeja available for triangular series

Ajay Jadeja will not have to undergo surgery on his shoulder and therefore will be available for the one-day traingular series in Australia, secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India Jaywant Lele said today.

Speaking over the phone from Baroda, Lele said that he had spoken to Jadeja this morning and the batsman told him that doctors said that surgery is not necessarry.

He added that Jadeja will be returning to India tomorrow.

This clears the way for Jadeja's availability for the traingular series in Australia, beginning from the second week of January.

Jadeja had suffered a rotatory cuff tear on his shoulder before the final one-day match against New Zealand in Delhi.
