Jeev drops to 34th position

On a windy day, with conditions difficult for scoring, India's Jeev Milkha Singh shot a four-over par 76 to drop down to the 34th place at the end of the third round of the Scottish PGA championship, being played at the par-72, 7,053-yard Monarch's course in Gleneagles, Scotland.

According to information, Jeev began steadily with five successive pars, but then made a hat-trick of bogies, starting from the sixth hole. Birdies on the 9th and 10th pulled him back to one-over for the day, but the birdies stopped thereafter.

The 27-year-old Chandigarh pro then dropped further strokes on the 12th, 13th and 16th holes to end the day at four-over 76. That took his three-day aggregate to four-over 220.

Overnight leader Rolf Muntz of The Netherlands dropped down the leaderboard to the second spot after a third round 73, while Sweden's Klas Eriksson, who was second after two rounds, shot a one-under 71 to become the new leader going into the final round.

Daniel Chopra, another India, played a level-par 72 round to take the joint 24th place at two-over 218.
