Central Districts on verge of win over Indians

New Zealand's Central Districts was within sight of victory at stumps on the third day of the four-day cricket match against India at Mclean Park in Napier today.

Requiring 158 to win, Central Districts made 73 for two at stumps. Captain Craig Spearman was not out on 47 and Jarrod Englefield on 14.

India was dismissed for 390 in its second innings. The highlight being 154 off 120 balls by Sachin Tendulkar.

Tendulkar came to the crease with India at 133 for five. Wicketkeeper Nayan Mongia and he added 201 for the sixth wicket. Mongia scored 79.
