Maharashtra Chief Minister Ashok Chavan won from Bhokar Constituency in Nanded district. 

Chavan defeated independent candidate Madhavrao Kinhalkar by 107503 votes.

Maharashtra Revenue Minister Narayan Rane has won from his pocketborough, Kudal constituency in Sindhudurg district.

Rane defeated the Shiv Sena's Vijay Naik by 24255 votes.

The Samajwadi Party leader and former MP won from Bhiwandi by 12985 votes. Azmi defeated the Shiv Sena's Yogesh Patil.

Azmi had also contested from the Shivajinagar-Mankhurd constituency in Mumbai where he defeated Syed Ahmad of the Congress.

The son of former Maharashtra CM and Union Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh made a winning start to his political innings . 

Amit defeated the Bahujan Samaj Party's Kayyum Pathan in Latur City constituency.

The youngest daughter of former maharashtra CM and Union Power Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde  won from her father's pocket borough of Solapur.

She won the Solapur Central seat beating the Communist Party of India-Marxist's Narsayya Adam.

Senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader and MP Gopinath Munde's daughter made her political debut by winning from Parli constiuency in Beed. She beat the Comgress' Trimbak Munde.
