The electioneering potboiler for Delhi polls got synced with technology as contestants, including chief ministerial candidates of Aam Aadmi Party, Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party reached out to voters by responding to their queries via 'video selfies'.

Common people directly posed questions concerning the issues related to the national capital to the candidates, yielding replies in the videos uploaded on 'Frankly Me' website, a mobile application.

The maximum questions of 1828 were posed to Kejriwal, while Bedi was asked 923 questions and Maken 539, according to the data provided by the website at the end of the campaigning this evening for the February 7 polls.

One of the questions to Kejriwal was: What would you suggest to Kiran Bedi (his former colleague) now that she is CM candidate of BJP?

People of Delhi have lots of questions to ask her (Kiran Bedi). Why doesn't she agree for a debate, she should debate... CM candidates of all the three parties should come ahead for a debate and people should know what their viewpoint on different issues.

“I remember when the US presidential elections were on, the candidates went for open debate and people watched that on television. People appreciated that tradition of debates and asked why this can't happen in our country?”

“Now when you have got that responsibility you must fulfil it. I request to you to re-consider this appeal (to hold a debate) and don't worry nothing will happen,” the AAP chief says in the video-selfie.

Congress' CM candidate Ajay Maken was asked why so many scams took place during his party's rule.

"I agree that many scams, particularly in UPA II, have been found... But in Congress party when we had Suresh Kalmadi there was also Ajay Maken and as a sports minister initiated a CBI enquiry against him and I saw to it that he is put behind bars.”

"So it is not we have only Suresh Kalmadi... while there are Suresh Kalmadis we have Ajay Makens also. So people should choose those people who have a proven track record and stand up against corrupt people in their own party," he replies.

While her rivals have come out responding to questions freely, Bedi doesn't seem quite a sport when she is seen in one of the videos dodging a query.

Bedi in her introductory video said she is there to connect with people and to share new ideas with them.

However, when asked why she doesn't reply to most of the questions, the BJP leader and former top cop is seen saying, "I answer what I believe in."
