Union Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde on Saturday warned that government is set to take action against those uploading fake videos of riots on social media intending to instigate riots or any other law and order troubles.
“It is a serious issue and Centre is seriously considering to take action against those found guilty of uploading video or footage of riots on social media to create communal troubles,”
Shinde said in Patna at the launch of a Hindi newspaper.
Shinde said misuse of social media including websites such as Facebook, Youtube to instigate communal riots and other law and order troubles is a dangerous thing.
