"I lost my son due to the medical negligence of the doctors. He could have been saved had doctors taken proper care. I have come here (Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital) to request the relatives of the high court bomb blast victims to be watchful of the treatment being delivered to their near and dear ones admitted," said Meera Mehta, mother of Aditya Jaiprakash, who was killed in the Pune blast.
Aditya, a resident of Rohini in New Delhi, was a fourth year student of Bharatiya Vidyapeeth in Pune. He suffered serious injuries during the February 14 blast and succumbed to his injuries at Pune's Jehangir Hospital, three days after admission.
"When my son was admitted with injuries I saw that the treatment was not correct. They would at times put a pipe into his nose or in the mouth and sometimes into the throat. We were never made aware about the treatment being given to him. And three days later doctors declared him dead. I do not want the same to happen with any admitted here," 53-year-old Meera, who lives at Rohini Sector-8 with her husband and daughter, said.
