Three Central Reserve Police Force personnel were gunned down on Monday by their colleague in Imphal West district of Manipur.
The shooter then shot himself.
The incident took place at Sangaiprou godown in the district where the troopers, part of the CRPF's 143 battalion, had been posted as sentries.
Following a heated exchange of words, constable Fobin Mohan pulled the trigger killing one of them on the spot and seriously injuring two others.
The two seriously injured CRPF troopers died on their way to the hospital.
The other deceased have been identified as Pradeep Nair, Eswar Rao and Shine Rajan.
Senior CRPF personnel have rushed to the spot following the incident.
