The banned National Democratic Front of Bodoland, accused of unleashing bloodbath in Assam by triggering serial blasts on October 30, has once again threatened to kill 'innocent Indians as well as security personnel' as retaliation to killing of 'Bodo tribe people and its cadres' by the Indian security forces operating against it n Assam.

In a statement issued to the media and signed by the self-styled deputy chief of 'Bodoland army' -- armed wing of the NDFB -- B Jwngkhang, the militant group alleged that government of India/Assam forces have been killing 'innocent' Bodos in 'fake encounters' branding those as cadres of the NDFB.

The statement said the 'Bodoland Army' would not tolerate killing of innocent Bodo people anymore and threatened to retaliate with vengeance.

"We cannot break stone with bricks, we have to use stone. From today onwards, if any innocent Bodo/NDFB cadre is killed by Indian forces in fake encounter, the Bodoland army will take action against any India. We do not care who they are, may be an India civilian or
a security force member. One innocent Bodo person will be equal to 20 Indians or may be more and this will be anytime and at any moment. The Bodoland army is ready. So remember this warning and be serious before killing innocent Bodo people," the statement added.

"All these fake encounters are continuing. So the Bodoland Army strongly warns the government of India/Assam to stop the killing of innocent Bodo people in the name of fake encounters. If the government of India/Assam starts this, then we will start and nobody has the right to comment against us. Fight with Bodoland army not with innocent Bodo civilians," the outfit stated, adding that Bodos are the sons of the soil and 'colonialists' (Indians) have no right over Bodos' land.

The NDFB chairman Ranjan Daimary is now in lodged in Nagaon jail of Assam after he had been handed over to Indian authorities by Bangladesh authority few months back.

The CBI named him as mastermind of the October 30, 2008 serial blasts that rocked Assam killing over 90 people and injuring over 400.
