Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee on hit out at West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee for claiming that she was taking her job as railway minister lightly and said it was he who did not have "vision" for setting up the small car project at Singur.

"He (Bhattacharjee) had tried to bulldoze the people to set up a (small car) factory at Singur. He has no vision and no mission. They (CPI-M) will come to know in future whether I am doing tamasha," Banerjee said at a civic poll rally.

Banerjee said if the state government had made land available at Singur, she would have set up a railway factory there after returning land to farmers who had unwillingly parted with it for the Nano project. The world's smallest car project finally moved to Sanand in Gujarat in 2008.

"I am not doing tamasha. In the short span of a year in office I have cleared a rail coach factory at Kancharapara, two railway projects at Dankuni and wagon units at Haldia and Burdwan in West Bengal," she said.
