Bharatiya Janata Party's actor-turned-politician Shatrughan Sinha on Saturday said all was not well within the party, as senior leaders had been left out of the new team of office-bearers, constituted by party chief Nitin Gadkari.
"All is not well within the BJP as senior leaders like Yashwant Sinha, C P Thakur and Shehnawaz Hussain have been ignored in the new team," the MP told reporters.
Sinha suggested that the BJP chief should take a fresh look at the new team and make amendments accordingly.
"I have already expressed my concern about it during my meeting with Sushma Swaraj, leader of opposition in the Lok Sabha, in New Delhi," said Sinha, who represents Patna Saheb in the Lok Sabha.
All the senior party leaders should be consulted in the fresh exercise of constitution of Gadkari's team, he added.
