A deadly alliance is in the making in Pakistan.
The Inter-State Intelligence, in fear of losing control of the country's terror machine, has brought the Al Qaeda, the Lashkar-e-Tayiba and the Dawood Ibrahim gang under its control to conduct deadly operations outside Pakistan.
According to India's Intelligence Bureau officials, the ISI has formed a new alliance following the heavy international pressure on it to severe ties with terror outfits, following the 26/11 terror attacks in Mumbai and the US interference in Pakistan.
Many smaller terror groups, which had been created by the ISI, had begun to conduct attacks indiscriminately inside Pakistan without seeking permission from the ISI, said IB sources.
By uniting the three groups, the ISI will try an gain lost control.
While the ISI had been attempting at uniting the LeT and the Qaeda for long, it decided rope in the D-gang as well for its strong fund-raising capacity. The 5,000-member strong D-gang has been always answerable to the ISI.
While the D-gang would be responsible for recruiting people and financing operations, the LeT and the Qaeda would carry out attacks. The IB said this new alliance will target India and the West too.
IB sources said the ISI was eager to increase the number of terror attacks outside Pakistan since it had been concerned that there have been more attacks within Pakistan than outside and also that the battle for Kashmir was not going as anticipated.
