India on Saturday repatriated 31 Pakistani fishermen, including three children, to their home country through the Indo-Pak border at Attari.
They were brought to the Indo-Pak joint check-post in the morning from Bhuj jail in Gujarat for repatriation, said an official at the border.
They finally crossed over in the evening after a Pakistani high commission official from the national capital arrived with emergency travel certificates, he said.
These fishermen were caught fishing illegally in Indian waters off Gujarat and had served jail terms for periods ranging from six months to one-and-half year.
Earlier, on December 26, Pakistan had freed 100 Indian fishermen, including nine teenagers, and they had come over through the Attari border.
