Terrorists attack Congress leader's house in Kashmir

Terrorists attacked the house of a senior Congress party leader in south Kashmir Pulwama district. The police guarding the house of Abdul Gani Dar, district president of the Congress, said one terrorist was killed in the gunfight.

They said the terrorists fired at the house of Dar in the Rohmoo village of Pulwama district on Sunday evening.

A senior police officer said Dar and his family escaped unhurt in the attack.He said the village has now been surrounded and searches are going on to trace the other terrorist believed to have been injured in the firing exchange. No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
