Chhattisgarh: Maoists join mainstream

Last updated on: September 15, 2009

Mukesh and Jasaun were once names synonymous with fear and terror. They repeatedly spread naxal violence for four years.

They have now returned to mainstream after surrendering themselves before the police without any pressure.

As per the government's rehabilitation policy, surrendered Maoists are given an amount of 2000 rupees per month.
