In a shocking incident, a 14 -year-old vendor ,was thrown out of a running train by Group Railway Police personnel in Bihar on Thursday, after he refused to pay them Rs 10.
The incident occurred near the Kurhni railway station in Muzaffarpur district.Police sources said that boy, who earned his livelihood selling gutka on trains, was thrown out of the passenger train after he refused to pay the GRP personnel.
"The GRP men tried to snatch money from Raju, who resisted. This angered them and they pushed him out of the running train," police sources told rediff.com. The boy was seriously injured, when he was admitted to the government hospital in Muzaffarpur and one of his legs had to be amputated due to his critical condition. "The boy is not out of danger yet because of excessive bleeding," police sources said.
A case was lodged against GRP personnel on the basis of the boy's statement.
