BJP to approach higher court in Ishrat Jahan case

Ravi Shankar Prasad, spokesman of Bhartiya Janata Party, said there were anomolies in the in the orderpassed by the inquiry into the Ishrat Jahan encounter case. "Those who are dealing with the case would move the upper court for a stay," he said while speaking to media-persons in New Delhi.
Prasad was commenting on the developments of the day when Ishrat, who was allegedly killed in a fake encounter, was given a clean chit by inquiry. "I am not going to comment on the nature of the order but I would like to bring to your notice some of the important developments," Prasad said
"At the outset I take strong exception to the comment made by Congress spokesperson Manish Tiwary where he had described Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi as a man-eater, politics apart, I would tell my colleague in the Congress that he should have used a better word," Prasad said
"Javed was in touch with a man by the name of Muzammil to carry out terrorist acts in Gujarat," he said. Prasad pointed that the court was approached on behalf of two Pakistanis who had been killed in the so-called fake 'encounter'."
"The home ministry had sent inputs that some terrorists were out to kill some of the top politicians of the country. The prime minister had said that Pakistan must put and end to the proxy war against India. There is no tolerance in our fight against terror," Ravi Shankar Prasad said.
