Naxalites raid railway station in Bihar

Armed Naxalites [ Images ] raided Banshipur railway station in Patna-Kiul section of the east-central Railway and burnt a cabin room, in Bihar's Lakhisarai district around midnight, official sources said.

The station master is missing. 

Around 100 heavily armed ultras swooped down the station and torched the cabin room, they said. The Naxalites later managed to escape.

Senior police officials reached the spot soon after receiving the information about the attack. A combing operation has been launched.
