'Gadkari's nomination may lead to revolt in BJP'

Though Nitin Gadkari's appointment has been almost approved by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat, a senior leader of the Bhartiya Janata Party said there might be revolt against the RSS leadership in the next few hours.

"Who sent the flowers to him?" is a question that's being asked often within the RSS fold, however nobody is willing to answer this.  

Party members are clueless how Gadkari landed in Delhi at the right time, when Bhagwat had selected him for the post.

Senior leaders, who are normally present at all important occasions, were missing in Delhi.

Gujarat Chief Minister Narenda Modi, who was the first choice for the post of BJP president among party circles, saw himself not in the list at all.

Leading writer Khushwant Singh felt only two people could prove to be a good leader of opposition: expelled leader Jaswant Singh and the other Arun Jaitley.
