Gangster Ashwin Naik today met Shiv Sena executive president Uddhav Thackeray at the latter's residence in suburban Bandra.
The details of the meeting, at 'Matoshree' bungalow in Kalanagar area, were not known, a Sena spokesperson told PTI.
Naik, who allegedly headed the gang formed by his brother Amar Naik, was recently discharged in all pending
cases against him in Mumbai and Pune.
Today's meeting comes amid reports that Naik earlier this week met Uddhav's estranged cousin and MNS chief Raj
Thackeray.
