Two software engineers, who arrived at the Bengaluru International Airport (BIA) from the US, were today quarantined for suspected H1N1 influenza, a senior health official said.

"The two persons with suspected flu symptoms have been admitted to Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Chest Diseases here," Health Commissioner Shrinivasachari told PTI. The Institute is one of the 13 hospitals identified by the Karnataka government to treat people with suspected flu symptoms, he said. About 19,000 international passengers have so far been screened at BIA and Mangalore airport for the H1N1 flu, he added.
