Seeking to put an end to the crisis in the party, Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhara Rao on Saturday revoked the suspension of rebel leaders who raised a banner of revolt against his leadership.

Rao along with rebel leader A Chandrasekhar said that the dissident leaders have expressed their willingness to return to the party which has been welcomed.

Efforts are on to contact other rebel leaders and the party would welcome them back into the party fold, he said.

Rao's decision to revoke the suspension came a day after a Hyderabad court staying the disciplinary action slapped on the rebels.

The dissident leaders were suspended after they expressed serious reservations over Rao's style of functioning and sought his resignation from the party president's post.

Upset over the personal attack mounted against him by the dissidents, Rao quit the post on June 19, but withdrew it two days later.

The party's state executive had also endorsed his leadership. Charging Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy with trying to trouble his party, Rao said TRS would defeat the designs of its enemies and march towards achieving its goal of separate Telangana.

"We will prepare sound strategies and march ahead on the path of achieving our goal," he asserted.

Speaking on the occasion, A Chandrasekhar, the leader of the rebels, said they will work to strengthen the TRS.
