The rumblings of discontent in Telugu Desam Party have assumed serious proportions with another senior party leader revolting against party president N Chandrababu Naidu.

The former minister and an important TDP leader in the state capital T Srinivas Yadav has found fault with Naidu's policy on Telangana issue for the electoral defeat of the party.

T Srinivas Yadav demanded that the party should revert back to the policy of pro-united Andhra Pradesh stand instead of the pro-Telangana line adopted before the elections.

He said that the party was in a much better position when it was against Telangana demand. He expressed surprise that despite knowing fully well that the Telangana Rashtra Samiti had no credibility left in the eyes of the people, Naidu chose to join hands with it for the elections.

Srinivas Yadav was defeated in the assembly elections in Hyderabad. He came out with his views on a day when Chandrababu Naidu was conducting a state level workshop of the party leaders for a minute analysis of the reasons for party's defeat.

Yadav stayed away from the meeting and held a press conference to share the details of his open letter to the party president.

Yadav, who dropped the plan of writing a letter to Naidu, demanded a thorough analysis for the reasons of party's defeat so in order to strengthen the party.

T Srinivas Yadav is the second leader to come out against Naidu during last fortnight. N Prasanna Kumar Reddy, the party legislator from Nellore district was suspended from the party after he wrote a letter Naidu alleging that he was surrounded by "buffoons and stupid people."

He virtually blamed Naidu and his coterie for the defeat of the party and demanded that Naidu should quit as the TDP President.

"Let the NTR family members take over the leadership of the party," he said demanding that actor N Balakrishna should be made the president of TDP and Junior NTR should be the president of Youth wing of the party.

On Thursday, coinciding with the revolt of Srinivas Yadav, Prasanna Kumar Reddy wrote another open letter to Naidu demanding answers to his questions about the cause of the party's defeat.

Reddy, who represent Kovuru constituency in assembly said that Babu had become a prisoner in the hands of five industrialists Nama Nageshwara Rao (MP) , CM Ramesh, Sujana Chowdharay, K Ramamohan Rao and Koneru Prasad and it became the cause of the party's poll debacle.
