Journalist-turned-politician Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal, will take over the charge of Chief Minister of Uttarakhand.
Presently, he is heading the ministry of Health and Family Welfare in the state. He will succeed B C Khanduri, who resigned from the post of Chief Minister, owning responsibility for the failure of Bharatiya Janata Party in the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections in the state.
