Two more swine flu cases detected in Bengaluru

A lady and her daughter from New Jersey have tested positive for the H1N1 virus in Bengaluru.

Doctors at the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Heart Sciences while confirming the same requested not to reveal the name of the patients.

The 29-year-old mother and her 3-year-old daughter had come to Bengaluru from New Jersey last week. A mandatory check was conducted following which their blood samples were sent to Pune. The Test report from Pune were positive for the H1NI virus.The sample was then sent to New Delhi for confimration, which confirmed the result.

Doctors in Bengaluru told reporters that the lady and her daughter have been kept in isolation and are being treated.
