July 27, 2009 09:55 IST
Two persons were found hanging in Noida on Monday morning, but the police were yet to identify the victims. Police said it was not clear whether it was a case of suicide or the two had been hanged to death.

The bodies, which were found in Noida's Sector 15, have been sent for post mortem, they said. The two were in the age group of 26-27 years.

"We got information (of the hanging) around 6.30 (am). Immediately, the police came here and we are on the job," SSP (Noida) Ashok Pratap Singh told mediapersons.

"Lot of people from around this area have seen the bodies but they have not been able to identify the them. After the post mortem, it will be clear as to what caused the death," Singh said.

Another police officer said one of the bodies had 'Pratap Katiyal' and 'Ashok Nagar' written on the wrist but they were yet to verify the name and the area.
