BSF apprehends youth in Jammu, hands over to Pak

The Border Security Force has apprehended a Pakistani youth, who had crossed over to India, and handed him over to Pakistani Rangers at Octroi post in Jammu division, paramilitary officials said on Saturday.

The youth, identified as 18-year-old Mohammad Bilal of Umrawali village in Pakistan's Sialkote district, was taken into custody by BSF troops on December 10 after he crossed the International Border and entered into the Indian territory in Nikowal area of R S Pura sector, about 25 km from Jammu, they said.

Bilal had inadvertently crossed the border and nothing incriminating was found in his possession, the officials said, adding that after preliminary questioning he was handed over to Pakistani Rangers yesterday.
