The toll in Tuersday night's serial blasts in Jaipur on Wednesday climbed to 63 and may rise with about 120 people undergoing treatment in hospitals for injuries received in the explosions.

The toll has gone up to 63, Rajasthan's Principal Home Secretary V K Singh told PTI. The toll has been unofficially put at 85.

The injured are admitted in several hospitals including Sawai Mansingh Hospital and Santokba Durlabji Memorial Hospital and Research Centre.

Rajasthan's Home Minister Gulab Chand Kataria said that the toll may go up as compilation of the number of dead and injured was still on.

Terrorists triggered eight serial blasts in a span of 12 minutes last night in crowded market areas of Jaipur and near a Hanuman temple.

The blasts rocked Tripolia Bazar, where large number of devotees turned up at a Hanuman temple, Johari Bazar, Manas Chowk, Badi Choupal and Choti Choupal -- all located within a two-km radius in the old city.
