Principal opposition Samajwadi Party (SP) supremo and former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Mulayam Singh Yadav on Tuesday alleged that Chief Minister Mayawati was conspiring to implicate party general secretary Amar Singh and megastar Amitabh Bachchan in a fake case just to target the opposition.

Yadav said a team of UP police headed by an inspector rank officer on Monday night  raided the residence of Amar Singh at Kolkata in connection with a luxury bus controversy, which carried the Bachchans along with his family from Lucknow airport to Gomti Nagar on January 27 last, the birthday of Amar Singh.

"The officer A K Diwedi had said before the camera that they were sent to Kolkata on direct orders from the CM and they have been entrusted to prepare the case against Big B and Amar Singh," claimed Yadav in a press conference here, while releasing the video CD of the raid.

According to the controversy, on January 27, both the families travelled in the said luxury bus, which had the registration number of Hamirpur district. Later, the RTO of Hamirpur was suspended by the government as the tax of the bus was not paid for converting it into a luxury vehicle. Later the entire family went to Barabanki, where foundation stone for a girl school in the name of Aishwarya was laid.

Yadav said that now they are prepared to come out openly to fight against the BSP governemnt in the state and were ready to go to jail against the highhandedness of the government.

''I will personally meet UP Governor T V Rajeswar with next four to five days to apprise him of the details and will submit before him several evidences of corruption and conspiracy against opposition,'' he said adding, he also plans to meet the President and Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh after that.

The former UP chief minister also raised the conspiracy by the BSP government in targeting Amar Singh in the Gomti Nagar plot case.

The plot was given on the recommendation of BSP founder Late Kanshi Ram and there was nothing illegal in it," he claimed.

Yadav also questioned the integrity of a senior state official, who has been entrusted probe against Amar Singh in the plot case claiming that the said official had already been criticised by High Court.

Claiming that Mayawati has turned egoistic and proud after receiving majority in the assembly polls, he predicted that now through such moves it proves that she will not complete her five years term.''Woh ab ghamand se chur hai'', he said claiming that she will have to go to jail for her misdeeds.

He also raked up the issue in which the present government tried to implicate him in an explosive case, while during the last regime all efforts were made to lodge POTA cases against him, his son Akhilesh Yadav and Amar Singh.
