Sumshma Swaraj of the Bharatiya Janata Party had made this claim in her routine interaction with the newsmen after Rajya Sabha was adjourned twice on Monday due to chaos on Nandigram raised by Davinder Diwedi of Trinamool Congress, removal of Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi by the congress party and BJP which challenged to dismiss Modi in the fake encounter killings.
"I have no such information that the two houses were likely to be adjourned sine die. As far as I am concerned the business is listed till 22nd of May," Somnath Chatterjee told rediff.com.
Swaraj had claimed that Speaker of Lok Sabha and Chairman of Rajya Sabha had been taken into confidence by the government of India. "The parliamentary affairs minister had planned adjourning the two houses on May 8 but since we got a wind of it and leaked it out to the which forced the government to back track," she said.
Parliamentary affairs minister Priyaranjan Das Munshi could not be contacted. Media persons were told that he would give his version later.
