Rocca discusses Indo-Pak
tension with Musharraf

US Assistant Secretary of State Christina Rocca on Tuesday discussed Indo-Pak tensions with Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf at an unscheduled meeting in Islamabad.

Rocca, who arrived from Karachi, held talks with Musharraf after an hour-long meeting with Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Inamul Haq and Foreign Secretary Riaz Kokhar.

Indo-Pak tension was the focus of her talks with the military ruler, media reports said adding they she discussed Pak-US bilateral relations and the situation in Afghanistan.

"Both sides agreed on the need for early resumption of dialogue between Pakistan and India," the Pakistani foreign office said.
