They had voted against the government during the vote of confidence in the assembly on June 13.
The four members of the legislative assembly -- Sanjay Deshmukh, Vasant Itkelwar, Vasant Suryawanshi and Dharmaraobaba Atram -- declared support in a signed statement.
While Deshmukh and Itkelwar are independents, Suryawanshi and Atram belonged to the Bharipa Bahujan Mahasangh and the Gondwana Ganatantra Party respectively.
"We had withdrawn support to the DF on June 4, 2002, but following the people-oriented decisions taken by the Deshmukh government, we are extending support to the ruling front," the statement said.
"Our support is unconditional and it will continue in the future as well," they asserted.
The timing of the statement assumes significance in the wake of the Congress high command giving a go ahead to Deshmukh to induct independents in his ministry to strengthen the government.
"The party high command has given a green signal to the chief minister to induct independents, but there will not be any reshuffle of Congress ministers or induction of party MLAs into the Cabinet," party sources said.
