Pak airman goes berserk; guns down six colleagues

At least six Pakistan Air Force personnel were gunned down by a 'deranged' colleague, who went on a shooting spree at the country's main airbase at Sargodha in Punjab province.

Reports from Sargodha quoted police officials as saying that 'one trigger-happy airman went crazy while playing a board game and shot dead six of his colleagues'.

The incident took place after a fight broke out when a group of airmen played a board game and ended up in one of the men going on a shooting spree, the reports said.

Sargodha airbase has been put on highest state of alert since mid-December due to tension between India and Pakistan.
