In an emotionally choked voice Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Dr Farooq Abdullah addressed the resumed session of the state assembly in the aftermath of Monday's suicide attack on the complex.
Wednesday's session took place amidst an unprecedented security cordon of the state assembly complex.
Hundreds of paramilitary Border Security Force, Central Reserve Police Force and local police were deployed to enforce strict security restrictions.
The road leading to the complex wore a deserted look as troops had barricaded it. No movement was allowed on the road leading to the assembly.
"Our patience has run out," said the state chief minister while addressing the legislators.
"India must now attack Pakistan and destroy all the training camps in the country," added the chief minister.
"We have to teach Pakistan a lesson. Enough is enough the time has now come to bomb that country and the training camps."
Dr Abdullah also said that India must topple the Musharraf government and install a friendly government, like Taleban was installed in Afghanistan by Pakistan.
Dr Abdullah said, "Pakistan is mis-interpreting our patience as our weakness. But our tolerance has reached its limit and we must now prepare for war. We must strengthen our borders so that the innocent people are saved."
At one stage tears rolled down the eyes of the state chief minister.
Other MLA's also were seen wiping their tears.
"Till what time should we wait. Till we all die? We have waited for 12 long years and enough is enough. We must bomb the training camps inside Pakistan," he said
"Pakistan cannot grab even an inch of our land. They fought three wars but were defeated. If General Musharraf thinks he can grab Kashmir then he is mistaken."
The chief minister lambasted the leaders of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference and said, "They are being protected by us and they support those who are responsible for the bloodshed in the valley."
"Kashmiris are sacrificing their lives for the unity, integrity and for maintaining communal harmony in our country," Dr Abdullah said and added, "We should not be afraid of America and we should teach Pakistan a lesson."
The house paid rich tributes to those who died in the explosion. A two-minute silence was observed, and later the speaker adjourned the house sine die, one day earlier than scheduled.
Meanwhile, scores of the state assembly employees staged a sit in and shouted slogans against the state government.
The employees alleged that the state chief minister Dr Farooq Abdullah and assembly speaker did not bother to visit the injured employees and officials. The employees alleged that most of their colleagues died due to the firing by the security forces.
Thirteen employees of the state assembly and council died in the attack.
"The security forces fired five grenades towards the assembly complex, which resulted in death and injuries to our colleagues," said Naseema, a senior reporter of the assembly.
She said, "Our injured colleagues need immediate specialised treatment and they should be shifted outside."
"Dr Abdullah is shedding crocodile tears in the assembly and he should help our injured colleagues", she said.
However the Deputy Inspector General of police K Rajendra denied the security forces opened fire on employees. "We evacuated them safely even when the firing was continuing," he said.
