Sher Singh Rana alias Pankaj, the prime accused in Phoolan Devi murder case, continued to be in hospital on Monday, although his condition was stated to be stable.
Rana was rushed to Sajdarjung Hospital on Sunday evening after he complained of uneasiness, while in police custody.
His blood pressure was found higher than normal perhaps due to some tension, police sources said.
Rana will be kept under observation in the hospital throughout Monday.
Rana was arrested in Dehradun on Friday in connection with the sensational daylight killing of Phoolan Devi, Samajwadi Party Member of Parliament from Mirzapur.
