3 BSF soldiers killed in highway blast

A massive bomb explosion severely damaged a Border Security Force vehicle at Khoninallah on the Srinagar-Jammu national highway on Monday, killing three BSF soldiers on the spot and critically wounding four others.

The injured soldiers have been rushed to a hospital in Udhampur where their condition is stated to be critical.

Senior police officials have rushed to the spot and the traffic on the highway was disrupted as troops searched the area.

No group has as yet owned up responsibility for the blast.
