Blast destroyed Babri masjid: RSS chief

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief K S Sudershan said on Friday that the Babri Masjid was not demolished by kar sevaks, but was devastated by an explosion triggered from inside the masjid.

"Today I want to share a secret with you. The truth has started trickling in and the truth will come out fully very soon," he told RSS workers at the Puthericandam maidan in Trivandrum.

Sudershan said the "kitchen cabinet" of then Congress-I prime minister P V Narasimha Rao was aware of this explosion.

He also came down heavily on Roman Catholics, saying that they did not recognise any belief other than their own and remained the only section opposed to the concept of a national church.
