Wadhwa Commission probing Staines murder gets extension

The Union Cabinet has decided to give a three-month extension to the Justice D P Wadhwa Commission of Enquiry, probing the brutal murder of Australian missionary Graham Stewart Stains and his two sons in Orissa on January 22.

The extension has been given following Justice Wadhwa's allegations about the Centre's non-cooperation in the probe. The Commission had earlier been asked to submit its report on the killings by March 28.
