Anti-Pak Protests Planned On Golden Bridge

SAN FRANCISCO -- The Friends of India society international is planning several demonstrations in key American cities against the brutal torture and murder of six Indian soldiers by the Pakistani armed forces. The first of the protest will be held on the Golden Gate bridge in San Francisco, June19, between 11 am and noon. A human chain will be formed. Mani M Manivannan, one of the organizers, says many volunteers from the high-tech companies of the Silicon Valley and a number of Indian organizations are joining hands.
