Reality TV scares ghosts!

Reality television has a knack of surprising us. First there were quizzes and talent hunts, and then began the inanity: people ate worms on an island; got married to smarmy, wealthy men; tried to stay awake really long; got a job with an American billionaire; fell in love. It all happened, and it all made -- at least at first spurt -- successful reality TV.

But now, after seeing people making love, giving birth, and being operated upon on live television, the British have come up with yet another bizarre, never-seen-before idea -- exorcism.

Top British scientists are planning to watch a priest shoo away evil spirits from a man apparently possessed by demons. Not surprisingly, this is a television first!

While the priest will perform his exorcism, neuro-imaging technology will monitor the happenings inside the head of the middle-aged man, who is supposed to have 'problems with demonic possession.'

'We are interested in how the brain works during religious experiences,' The Sun quoted Baroness Susan Greenfield, brain expert, Oxford University, as saying.
