The Baghban team is back!
Director Ravi Chopra returns with Baabul, a family saga. The film, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Hema Malini, Salman Khan, Rani Mukerji and John Abraham, is scheduled for a December 8 release.
While Baghban narrated the tale of elder parents deserted by their children, Baabul spreads a social message of widow remarriage.
When Rani's husband (Salman Khan) in the film dies, her in-laws (Big B, Hema Malini) encourage her to re-marry. Interestingly, Rani's role was first offered to her cousin, Kajol.
The film has music by Aadesh Shrivastava, and even features a song sung by Salman.
