It's well known that Amitabh Bachchan was your inspiration to join films. Now, after doing a film with him, has it been a dream come true for you?

Of course. In many ways, Aks is an important film for me.

First, it has given me a chance to work with Mr Bachchan, who inspired me to become an actor.

Second, it's a script that has never been tried before in Hindi films. Like they say, it's different.

And, finally, I believe in Rakesh Mehra's ability to make a great film.

Soon, he will be in the top five directors of Indian cinema. He is a brilliant technician. Quite articulate, too.

After Shekhar Kapoor, Mahesh Bhatt, Ramgopal Varma and Shyam Benegal, I feel Rakesh will be spoken about in the same breath.
