Suresh Wadkar launches nephew!
tanman.com, which marks the debut of well known singer Suresh Wadkar as producer, was launched at a simple function at Mehboob studios, Mumbai yesterday.
The films launches Suresh Wadkar's nephew Aman, starred along side Manisha Koirala and South siren Saakshi Shivanand and is being produced under the banner Gogi Entertainment Private Limited.
The mahurat shot given by chief minister Vilasrao Deshmukh featured Saakshi and Aman.
Deputy Chief Minister Chhagan Bhujbal, Minister of State for Home Kripashankar Singh, Marathi artistes Mahesh Kothare, Sachin Khedekar, Nana Patekar, cricketers Ajit Wadekar and Dilip Vengsarkar and singers like Udit Narayan, Alka Yagnik, Sadhana Sargam were among the few who graced the occasion.
Wadkar described the film as a love story with a spiritual touch. India's renowned spiritual and tantrik painter Sadhak Shivanand Saraswati, also known as Udayraj Gadnis prior to his diksha made a rare appearance.
The gifted singer added that he decided to turn producer for his beloved nephew Aman who aspired to be an actor.
Pradeep Chanda is the writer and director while Jay Borade, Rajan Kinagi and Sandesh Shandilya will be handling the dance, cinematography and music.
Needless to say, Wadkar has lent his voice for some of the songs in the film.
