Students' charter of demands: 1

* Scrapping the new 1+1+1 structure
* Reverting to the three-year integrated course
* Accommodating all the 64 students of the basic course in the three-year integrated course.

The rationale: The recently introduced 1+1+1 structure fragments the earlier three-year integrated course into independent one-year courses.

It is based on compulsory elimination of students. Of the 64 students taken in the first year, only 48 will go into the second (Certificate Course). Of those, only 32 will get into the final year (Diploma Course).

This reduces student strength by half.
