In the early days of his film career, Govinda was often dubbed Dada Kondke ka chhota bhai. All because he looked like the superstar comedian of Marathi films -- especially when he laughed. Govinda, of course, never minded the comparisions.

Later, when Govinda turned into a superstar of comedy himself (Coolie No 1, Aankhen, Hero No 1, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan to name a few), he often expressed the desire reprise Dada Kondke.

His wish, it seems, is finally fulfilled. In Jis Desh Mein Ganga Rehta Hai, Govinda is actually re-enacting the Dada Kondke of Ekta Jeev Sadashiv!
