    Rifat Jawaid in Calcutta

Come Saturday evening and the reigning heart-throb of Bollywood, Hrithik Roshan, will set Salt Lake's Yuva Bharati Krirangan ablaze with his live performance.

Hrithik is in Calcutta to perform at Coca Cola's live musical extravaganza. He arrived here on Thursday night with his Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai co-star, Amisha Patel, dad Rakesh Roshan and actress Namrata Shirodkar.

Talking to the press on Friday afternoon, Roshan Jr spoke of his relationship with Calcutta and his forthcoming movies.

This is Hrithik's third visit to the City of Joy since his debut in Bollywood. On both his earlier visits, he has evoked mass hysteria here. The star, however, says his love affair with Calcutta is not limited to his massive fan-following.

"I have a little bit of Bengali blood in me. My grandmother Irawati Devi hails from Bengal. That's precisely why I find this city so irresistible. I can't speak Bengali, but I do understand a bit of it," he confessed.

In response to whether he would accept offers to act in Bengali films, Hrithik replied: "It would be great fun to act in Bengali movies."

On his future releases, Hrithik said that both Karan Johar-directed Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham and a film with Vikram Bhatt would be completed early next year.

The tickets for the show have been priced at Rs 50, Rs 100,
    Rs 150, Rs 200 and Rs 2,000.

Even the dismal performance of Fiza and Mission Kashmir hasn't dampened the spirit of his fans in Calcutta.

Organisers claim to have sold all tickets for the show, as Calcutta prepares itself for the huge musical extravaganza. After all, Salt Lake stadium can comfortably accommodate 1,20,000 people.

The event's organisers say Hrithik will change his outfit for every song. They expect the show to outdo the Michael Jackson concert that was held in Bombay held a few years ago.
