  Home | Cricket

Watching cricket is the biggest thrill. Making up lists -- the best ever, worst ever, players who bat left handed and bowl righthanded, whatever -- ranks just below that, as is evident from the plethora of such lists, starting with Don Bradman's Dream Team, that have inundated us in the recent past.

So here is where you stand up and be counted -- by helping to pick the best ever Indian Test XI. Our statistician, Mohandas Menon, juggled the figures and came up with a list of 65 of the best players to have played Tests for the country. The trick now is to judge them on merit, then come up with your own pick of the best Indian XI of all time.

Click on the player names to know more about them.

Please select 11 players.

The rediff dream team will be announced on May 1, 2002.
