Tendulkar feeling better and
likely to make it to SA

Batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar was feeling better after using the new shoes, which cushioned his injured toe, and he is likely to make it to India's upcoming tour of South Africa.

BCCI sources on Monday said the pain in Tendulkar's right toe had subsided and he was feeling comfortable.

Tendulkar might give the fitness certificate to the Board for his selection to the Indian team, within a couple of days, the sources said.

Tendulkar had injured his right toe during the triangular series in Zimbabwe, playing in the last league match against the West Indies on July 4 last and subsequently missed the tour of Sri Lanka.

The star batsman had consulted orthopaedic surgeon Mark Fergusson for his foot injury, in South Africa last week.
